Fondant is now my fave medium as the results that can be achieved are fantastic. When I did my bear bear for old colleagues’ gathering everyone thought the finishing was fabric. When we cut the ladybug for Gina’s birthday, all the other guests and waitresses at the restaurant were looking on with smiles on their faces. Of course Jeannie was thrilled beyond words when we presented her with the lingerie cake.
I am so delighted with the thrill and wow factor that my fondant cakes can bring to any function; making it always the conversation piece. Everyone’s throwing real challenging cake designs at me now. Bernice said cannot give me simple designs, so her 21st birthday cake was a 3 tier challenge.
