Optimus Prime

This was made for a transformers’ collector.  How Optimus Prime has evolved from the first original prime mover that my son Darren played with more than 20 years’ ago!!!!
To be as authentic as possible, I searched the net for pictures and details.  Parts were hand molded in sugarpaste, then painted in edible pearl silver dust.  Tyres were hand molded, then layered with rims.  Dimensions had to be measured and remeasured so that the final pieces fit.  Then there were the coloured spray "flame" designs on the truck – every piece had to be hand cut.
And the best thing about Optimus – every little bit was edible!  BUT it sure took me a long long time to build this.
